About Auskick

In football, teams are assigned to categories based on not only performance but also age. Hence, there is a senior football league as well as a junior football league. Junior Football can further be classified into under 14, under 12, etc.

Auskick is a form of introductory sports for young boys and girls. It is a way of launching young kids into the Australian football world. It involves various exercises and fun activities that include running, kicking, jumping, and other exercises to energise and prepare them for the real football game. Auskick aims to train the kids (from primary schools) about basic football skills. Auskick covers all the skills in football and encourages Auskickers to work as a team. Our Auskick program involves the parents to run it efficiently.

The advantages of Auskick cannot be over-emphasised. Apart from preparing the kids for a future football career, it enhances their motor skills and organises their social and mental skills.

The season runs through the year with consideration to the children’s academic calendar. Hence, training is often scheduled for after school and on weekends. The 2021 Auskick season will kickstart soon, and preparation is already in place to enrol children. We will update all details on this page soon.
